Editing blog

When we came into class it took a few minutes to get started. The reason is that some took our computer. So once we got ahold of the computer we went straight to work. We had to get our footage from both of ours google drive and put it into a folder. This part took way to long because the WiFi was acting up. We then opened pinnacle studios and import the footage. We carefully went through each video to see which ones we like the best. Once we had a rough idea of videos we want. We drop them in so we can truly start.

The start would be me throwing my jacket. This was used instead of the volleyball idea. So it was the same concept as the volleyball, as the jacket would turn into a basketball. The next piece of footage was Taylor dribbling the basketball. To get to this video we faded from the jacket to the basketball in the air. Now we only had one good shot of Taylor catching the ball so we two videos of her. We faded from the catch and to her dribbling for a few more seconds then placing the ball down. Then used a straight transition to Brandon having his foot on a soccer ball in the field. We then put in a fade to him doing tricks and shooting at the goal. After we completed these three we removed the audio from them.

Once the computer finish stripping the audio we did a straight cut into me throwing a football. This was shot by using an over the shoulder shot. We then looked at the video and stopped it just before the person caught it, and we cut that part out. Once we liked were the cut was we add the second part of this segment. We faded into the second part which was the catch followed by him running and scoring, and doing a little dance. Followed by this we faded to me doing a similar action and setting up to start a race in the track. We cut part of this out because it was shot at two angles. One was looking at my back and one from the side. We faded from one to another to show a start and then mid run. Once I passed through the screen it fades to black and the Nike logo comes up, with our message of “Find your will” which ends our commercial.
